CHILDREN’S HOPE LEARNING CENTER FOR HEARING IMPAIRED
The Children’s Hope Learning Center for Hearing Impaired opened in 2021 in Naga City, Camarines Sur, in partnership with the Joseph Gualandi School for Hearing Impaired, Inc., founded and managed by the Sisters of the Little Mission for the Deaf.
After fully renovating the area provided where the Learning Center is housed, CHC outfitted the Center with computers, computer desks and chairs, Smart TV, multi-function printer, long tables and chairs where students can read and study, ceiling fan, book shelves, library of books and resource materials. CHC has also continuously provided support to the students and teachers by providing hearing aids, a P.A. system and other amenities.
The Learning Center started offering American Sign Language courses in 2023. The CH Learning Center is now on its second year of teaching American Sign Language courses the first batch of which began in April of 2023. CHLC for Hearing Impaired have successfully graduated and certified ASL interpreters.
